PTM for MYP1-4
The holistic development of a child depends upon the hard work of student, parent, and teacher. To ensure that all these stakeholders communicate, Middle School organized virtual PTM from 22nd to 26th of March 2021 for the parents of MYP1-4
Parents could book their PTM slots through excel sheets and google drives shared by respective subject teachers of their child and could further communicate with teachers to find a timing that would be more suitable to them. This method ensured that they had enough time to connect with every subject teacher and could receive insight about their child’s achievements, as well as their areas of improvement.
Teachers gave parents and students their undivided attention in 15-minute sessions through recurring zoom meetings, the link of which, was sent earlier in the PTM week. In the meetings, the teachers shared details regarding students’ performance in Quarter 3 and Summatives, tips and tricks for improvement, and class participation. The PTM sessions also provided parents with a platform to directly connect with teachers regarding how they can assist their children in their academic journey ahead. Parents were encouraged to meet all subject teachers.
MYP1-5 PTM was a huge success as it enabled even the outstation parents to connect with teachers and fixed timeslots were efficient in maintaining minimum waiting time, so that parents too could get back to their jobs with ease.
